Jimmy's can cater your office lunch for 4, a business or social occasion for 40, or that special event for 400. Our regional specialties bring a special taste to your event - but we don't stop there. We provide what you want to make your event one to be proud of.
Jimmy's Regional Specialties
Gumbo - The Real Thing Jimmy's own recipe for a Louisiana-style gumbo with a rich mixture of seafood, chicken, and pork served over rice.
Creamy Artichoke Soup- Jimmy's version of a New Orleans classic
Crawfish Tails- Fried Crawfish tails served with our own tomato cocktail sauce and tartar sauce
Pascal's Manale Barbecued Shrimp- This Italian-Creole restaurant in New Orleans is famous for creating B-B-Q shrimp. We serve ours the same way but remove the heads and shells for easier eating.
Jambalaya- This New Orleans classic is a spicy blend of seafood, chicken, Andouille sausage, rice and Cajun seasoning.
Shrimp Creole- Tender Gulf shrimp in a true Creole tomato sauce with onions and peppers over rice.
Red Beans and Rice- This dish was traditionally served on Mondays in New Orleans. Slowly simmered red beans, onion, garlic, spices and Andouille sausage served over rice
Crawfish Etouffee- In the Creole tradition we smother tender crawfish tails in a creamy sauce of peppers, onions, celery, herbs, and spices and serve them over a bed of rice.
Grillades and Grits- This New Orleans favorite is the tenderest beef in a rich Creole beef and tomato sauce served with creamy cheese grits.
Shrimp Victoria- An old New Orleans favorite made famous at Brennan's - it is lightly seasoned shrimp, mushroom, and green onion in a wine and cream sauce, served over rice.
Po-boy Sandwiches- Oyster Shrimp, Catfish Cajun Chicken, BLT - Fresh or Fried Green
Soft Shell Crab
Side Dishes- Cole Slaw, Fried Green, Tomato, Green Beans, Squash, Casserole, Turnip Greens, Cheese Grits, Baked Sweet Potato Potatoes
Desserts- Bread Pudding, Banana Pudding
Jimmy's has a private room that will seat up to 24. It is available upon request for groups of 6 or more. Jimmy's is WIFI enabled for your office or business needs. We are available for bridge groups before or after lunch.
Sunday school classes, family reunions or just a gathering of friends find this space warm and friendly. It's perfect to relax and enjoy spending some extra time together.
